Think Pink Charity Masquerade Gala

A Look Back...

On 31st October 2025, the Papua New Guinea Cancer Foundation Inc held its first ThinkPink Charity Masquerade Gala at APEC Haus, introducing a new direction for Pinktober awareness in the country. The event brought together leaders, health professionals, survivors, partners, and supporters to shine a light on the importance of breast and cervical cancer prevention and early detection under the theme “ThinkPink Think Prevention – Small Steps, Big Impact.”

The night included meaningful messages from the Minister for Health, Honourable Elias Kapavore, medical experts, and breast cancer survivor Ms. Bertha Ngahan, each offering their own perspective on the need for stronger action in cancer awareness. Sponsor representatives also shared words of encouragement and highlighted their commitment to the cause.

The Gala came to life through the combined support of corporate partners, donors, volunteers, and performers, whose contributions helped create a memorable evening and strengthened ongoing efforts to promote healthier communities across Papua New Guinea.
